Winzer Kremser Schmidt Grune Veltliner Gruner Vetliner is the mostly widely planted grape in Austria. The wine can have very pleasant citrus and grapefruit aromas, white pepper and lentils. They can also show aromas of green beans or asparagus. Schmidt Zweigelt Sparkling, dark ruby garnet with purple reflections, a heavy core with violet rim as a sign of youth. High extract content. Clear nose with discreet echoes of cherry and young fruit aromas. Dry with a mild acidity, very soft tannin and very full bodied. Neckenmarkt Zwieigelt Zweigelt is an Austrian hybrid grape resulting from a cross between Blaufränkisch and St. Laurent. It produces medium-bodied wines with good acidity and soft tannins supporting slightly earthy - yet quite fruity - notes of dark cherry and black raspberry with spicy undertones.
Diem Gruner Vetliner The varietal Veltliner is another Austrian specialty. Properly the most versatile grape to go with any food. The white peppery, spicy taste is the most characteristic sign of a classic Veltliner. This wine comes from the heartland of Veltliner producing areas and was one of the “Best Veltliner” Vintage 2003 considered by the Austrians. There's no oak in this wine to hide the fabulous fruity taste, with a light yellow color.

The old brewhouse in the monastery was in use from 1634 to 1884, when it was rebuilt and then used for another 70 years. In 1954 the current brewhouse was built, just outside the monastery.
Kristall An Export style bottom fermented, light colored beer . This brew has a pleasant hops bitterness achieved with selected hops from the local Muehlviertel area. Local barleyis used to give the beer the intriguing (terroir) malt flavor and the solid body. It has a fresh, smooth taste with a fairly dry finish. Dopple Bock An amber- dark double-bock with a lot of malt flavor and robust body. A perfect balance with its pronounced hops bitterness. Barley and hops are from the local area. This most drinkable beer will be appreciated by all bock-beer aficionados. Red Ale This beer was brewed in honor of a famed local writer by the name of Adalbert Stifter. As cooling technics were not available at that time the beer was brewed with top fermentation yeast. Schlaegl kept the tradition and even maintain the open fermentation vat. Because of the selected barley used, the beer has a redish color appearance. Hence the name “Red Ale”. Abtei Pils The unusual Pils. Local hops supply the hops notes which are very pronounced in this beer. The body is heavier than most other Pils beers. A Pils that just does not conform to the standard Pils concept. But that makes it so intriguing. A superior class Pils rarely matched by other Pils beers. Urquell The Classic Lager beer. A beer you can drink from breakfast to bed time. Crystal clear water from the Bohemian forest, hops and barley from the surrounding Muehlviertel area make this light colored bottom fermented "Vollbier" with its pleasant soft hops bitterness very drinkable. Roggen Gold - Rye Ale In the Muehlviertel land they grow the legendary “Schlaegl Rye” that is the base of the Roggen Gold. Austria’s one and only organic Rye beer. HOFBRAU KALTENHAUSEN Home of Edelweiss is the „Hofbräu Kaltenhausen“brewery, not far from the city of Salzburg, in the middle of the Austrian Alps. Alodught Edelweiss beer was started in1986 the brewery it was founded in 1475 – this means more than 530 years of brewing tradition! It is the oldest brewery in the region oldest brewer of wheat beer in Austria. According to the brewery's website, the name Edelweiss is used as a metaphor for the beer's purity and singular uniqueness.
Edelweiss Beer Weissbier Hefetrüb Lightly hazy golden yellow color. Aromas of scallion corn pudding and banana custard have a delicate spiciness and follow through on a silky entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium body with polished depth and balance. Finishes with a long, zesty, banana nut muffin, parsley, and wafer fade. Delicious. The flower is not mentioned as an ingredient, but obtains its floral nature from the top fermented brewing process and its ingredients: pure alpine water directly from the mountains, wheat malt, barley malt, hops and top fermented yeast. GÖSSER BREWERY From the Styrian city of Leoben claims to brew Austrias best beer. It’s not easy to confirm if Gösser beer is the best one in Austria, because there are many fabulous Austrian beers and tastes are different from human to human. But one thing you can say for sure: Gösser is not a bad beer. Especially in the Southern federal state of Styria, Gösser has a very high reputation. In that part of Austria Gösser almost counts to a landmark of the province. In that case the green colour of the Gösser crest was not chosen by accident. Green is also the colour of the Styrian Federal Coat of Arms.
Gösser Pils Appearance- Bright straw-orange-yellow color, very crisp and clear looking, typical of the stye. But a small head descended into a nice crown of foam on the beer that retained throught. Light lacing held to the glass.Smell: Very Lager, very grain, with possible subtle fruity undertones.Taste: Nice and flavorful. This is nice and refreshing with still remaining a fuller flavor. This bottom fermented, light beer tickles the palates of beer-lovers around the world. Its aroma is mildly malty and its refreshingly sharp tang derives from balanced hopping. Overall- Seems like a decent beer to drink on hot summer day. Gösser Dark The bottom fermented Gosser Dark is brewed according to old, inherited traditions. With a smokey, roasted nose and a thick and creamy taste on the palate, Gosser Dark is a sophisticated delight for lovers of a slightly sweet, dark beer. The overall impression that Gosser Dark creates is one of great harmony and well roundedness.Nice dark colour with a fine, thin head and good lacing. Chocolate and burnt-malt aroma with caramel. Milk chocolate and mild coffee flavours with a creamy texture and chalky finish. An interesting, drinkable and well-balanced beer.
